Vegeto is Goku and Vegeta combined with the earrings they are the only one's that combined withthe earrings. Vegetto is extraodinarily powerful but like all fusion characters he also is extremely cocky and thus play with Buu rather than just killing him right of the bat . In  the anime Vegetto is around for a few episodes.
